Kristy manages the Patient Ambassador program as well as state policy issues for the DPC team. She brings experience interning for the U.S. Department of State in the Central European Affairs office drafting policy and coordinating state visits with former Secretary Clinton. Additionally she was asked to staff the 2012 NATO Summit in Chicago as a Site Officer for Public Diplomacy. Despite her focus on international policy, she has always maintained an interest in health policy. Topics researched include long-term care funding and the effects of mercury exposure to occupational health.
Originally from Michigan, she received her B.A. from the University of Michigan in political science and Polish language literature and culture. She is also a graduate of George Mason University, receiving her Master’s in Public Policy with a focus on international governance and institutions.
