Orientation
Welcome to the Dialysis Patient Citizens (DPC) Patient Ambassador Program! We’re excited to have you join us and look forward to working with you, connecting you with fellow Patient Ambassadors, and helping you get started.
Your Orientation & Meet & Greet
Your first step as a Patient Ambassador is to join us for an Orientation Meet & Greet, where you’ll learn more about DPC, the Patient Ambassador Program, and the many ways you can use your voice to make a difference.
During this session, you will:
- Learn more about DPC and the Patient Ambassador Program.
- Meet current Patient Ambassadors, DPC staff and/or board members who will welcome you to the program.
- Learn about opportunities to amplify your voice and advocate for the ESRD community.
- Discover ways to become a leader and make an impact in your community, dialysis center, former dialysis center, and beyond.
- Learn how you can help influence change and advocate for the ESRD community at the state and federal levels.
Following the Orientation Meet & Greet, you’ll be ready to participate in regular Patient Ambassador meetings and engagement opportunities.
Orientation Meet & Greet Schedule
These trainings take place before our regular Patient Ambassador meetings:
